What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and develop a cross-functional team of equipment and automation technicians fostering a culture of safety quality accountability and continuous improvement
- 2Design and execute preventive predictive and corrective maintenance strategies for manufacturing systems
- 3Troubleshoot and repair highly automated equipment across electrical mechanical pneumatic hydraulic robotics vision motion control and PLC/HMI systems
- 4Support installation commissioning qualification and lifecycle management of new and upgraded automation equipment
- 5Implement condition-based and data-driven maintenance practices to improve uptime OEE and equipment reliability
- 6Partner with Manufacturing Engineering Quality and Supply Chain serving as primary maintenance contact for audits deviations and change control
- 7Ensure compliance with FDA GMP ISO and safety standards tracking KPIs uptime MTTR and MTBF driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma
- 8Manage technical teams with 4+ years leadership experience demonstrating strong technical expertise across electrical mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and automation systems
- 9Possess prior experience in IVD medical device pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing including diagnostics reagent production
- 10Demonstrate familiarity with Lean Six Sigma certification Green Belt or higher and digital maintenance tools IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies
- 11Provide flexibility to support off-shift or on-call operations
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanical Electrical Chemical Biomedical or related field with 14+ years experience or master degree with 12+ years experience
- 2Experience in maintenance engineering or operations within regulated manufacturing medical device diagnostics pharma or biotech
- 34+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams
- 4Strong technical expertise across electrical mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and automation systems
- 5Working knowledge of PLC/HMI platforms Rockwell preferred robotics vision systems and industrial networks
- 6Proven ability to lead in fast-paced high-volume environments supporting off-shift or on-call operations
- 7Previous experience in IVD medical device pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing including diagnostics reagent production
- 8Lean Six Sigma certification Green Belt or higher with experience in highly automated manufacturing environments
- 9Familiarity with digital maintenance tools IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies
