What You'll Do12
- 1Design and implement automation solutions for DeltaV and Rockwell PLC equipment supporting Lab and Admin buildings
- 2Mentor process control team in design controls, implementation, and commissioning
- 3Lead design reviews and coordinate integration of analytical systems with DCS platforms
- 4Own site‑wide administration strategy for laboratory and analytical equipment including user access and data management
- 5Partner with internal teams to integrate Empower LIMS MES and ELN systems
- 6Develop functional requirements and process control strategies in collaboration with Process Engineering
- 7Implement and troubleshoot control loops and electronic systems for production data capture
- 8Maintain validated control system states aligned with GMP standards
- 9Support capital projects and new product introductions with automation expertise
- 10Promote automation adoption to boost productivity, efficiency, and compliance
- 11Build a network of corporate contacts to leverage expertise across functions
- 12Set and reinforce automation rigor standards in coordination with consultants
Requirements9
- 1Minimum B.S. in Engineering or Science with 8+ years in biopharma automation or manufacturing
- 2Proven experience commissioning, qualifying, and supporting analytical equipment such as cell counters and mass spectrometers
- 3Expertise in GMP regulatory requirements and computer system validation
- 4Authorized to work in the United States full‑time
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences
- 6Demonstrated initiative, planning, and problem‑solving abilities
- 7Experience integrating SCADA DCS MES LIMS and Site Historian systems (DeltaV Rockwell Syncade LabVantage)
- 8Ability to influence peers and drive organizational decision‑making
- 9Preference for candidates with background in greenfield manufacturing site automation
