What You'll Do11
- 1Lead project work that includes continuous improvement retrofit and capital investments to develop new technologies and optimize development and clinical manufacturing operations
- 2Design architect troubleshoot and deliver enhancements for automation related systems
- 3Provide technical support and maintenance of automation systems for multiple R&D facilities within the Framingham campus and Waltham locations
- 4Provide oversight to contractors for staff augmentation and/or project roles as needed
- 5Create data architectures to capture time-series data and create dashboards for easy data analysis visualization and remote operation
- 6Drive breakthroughs that turn the impossible into possible for millions
- 7Maintain and provide technical support ensuring availability of automation systems across R&D facilities
- 8Collaborate with stakeholders to build robust infrastructures enabling experimentation and discovery
- 9Develop solutions spanning automation systems data historians IoT devices and AI focusing on Digital 4.0
- 10Manage automation systems for non-GMP groups within the R&D organization
- 11Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and support IT/OT network management
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor's degree in engineering computer science information technology life sciences or related discipline
- 28+ years of automation experience in manufacturing or laboratory environment
- 3Experience with controls systems Rockwell DeltaV Ignition and data historians Aveva PI
- 4Knowledge of bus technologies instrumentation and virtual infrastructures
- 5Working in industrial manufacturing environment including gowning
- 6Self-motivated able to work independently and be accountable
- 7Thorough understanding of data integrity principles
- 8Proven technical and analytical skills to resolve automation system issues
- 9Master’s or MBA preferred
- 10Experience with UNS including MQTT
- 11Experience with PAT for process optimization including synTQ
- 1224/7 on-call support required
