You lead a team of maintenance technicians ensuring buildings, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities run without fail. Your role coordinates with park operations and external contractors to minimize downtime and enhance guest experience. What You'll Do10
- 1Build a daily shift schedule for the maintenance team, aligning tasks with park operational priorities.
- 2Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems across all facilities.
- 3Coordinate emergency responses to utility outages, water leaks, and storm damage, ensuring rapid restoration.
- 4Drive work order completion through Maximo and Mobaro CMMS, guaranteeing accurate documentation.
- 5Supervise contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring compliance with Six Flags standards.
- 6Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures to implement lasting fixes.
- 7Enforce OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe workplace.
- 8Support the maintenance director in budget planning for facility upgrades and capital projects.
- 9Mentor technicians through cross-training and professional development to boost team capability.
- 10Participate in after-hours and on-call emergency response as required.
Requirements10
- 15+ years in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance, with focus on HVAC and electrical systems.
- 22+ years supervising maintenance technicians in a large facility or theme park environment.
- 3Working knowledge of BAS (Building Automation Systems) and CMMS software.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and scheduling.
- 5OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred.
- 6EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerants preferred.
- 7Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred.
- 8Forklift and aerial lift certification preferred.
- 9First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
- 10High school diploma required; associate degree in facilities management or related field preferred.
