Facilities Engineer Maintenance Specialist
Overview
We need a hands-on Facilities Engineer to keep 22 medical imaging centers running flawlessly across GA and AL. This role involves solving non-medical facility issues, coordinating contractors, and maintaining equipment to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
What You'll Do11
- 1Address basic plumbing and electrical problems including sink unclogging and fixture replacement
- 2Perform HVAC troubleshooting and coordinate vendor services
- 3Own preventative maintenance schedules for lighting and restroom areas
- 4Monitor and resolve maintenance requests prioritizing urgent tasks
- 5Source and manage outside vendors for plumbing HVAC and electrical services
- 6Maintain inventory of tools and supplies across all locations
- 7Ensure facility cleanliness and safety through regular inspections
- 8Coordinate with site managers to close maintenance tickets within SLA
- 9Track equipment lifts and ladder usage for compliance
- 10Update maintenance records using digital systems
- 11Assist with painting and minor repairs throughout sites
Requirements10
- 15+ years hands-on facilities maintenance in multi-site environments
- 2Skilled in basic plumbing electrical painting carpentry and minor repairs
- 3Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel
- 4Ability to lift 75 lbs climb ladders and work in tight spaces
- 5Smartphone proficiency and basic computer skills
- 6Preferred HVAC EPA certification or plumbing license
- 7Excellent attendance and background clearance
- 8Trustworthy with keys and codes
- 9Background drug screen required
- 10Reliable vehicle for 60-70% travel
