Facilities Engineer - Industrial Process Engineer
Overview
You will own the installation and commissioning of a new industrial processing line in North Las Vegas. With 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience, you will drive equipment setup, vendor coordination, and process optimization. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure OSHA compliance and safe operations. This role offers the unique chance to build processes from the ground up in a startup-like environment.
What You'll Do6
- 1Install and commission industrial processing equipment, including PLC and HMI systems.
- 2Manage equipment procurement and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- 3Develop and refine manufacturing processes and SOPs for the new line.
- 4Monitor real-time operations, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- 5Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- 6Ensure strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements5
- 13-5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
- 2Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, including PLC troubleshooting and motor controls.
- 3Proven experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and process implementation.
- 4Experience with procurement and vendor coordination in a manufacturing setting.
- 5Pass a background check and drug screen.
