What You'll Do9
- 1Design and construct structural components from detailed blueprints and shop drawings
- 2Perform precise fitting layout and assembly of steel elements
- 3Execute high-quality welds using MIG and TIG equipment
- 4Prepare and finish raw materials through cutting grinding and polishing
- 5Interpret technical documentation including weld symbols and fabrication plans
- 6Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance
- 7Operate industrial fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- 8Maintain organized clean workspace adhering to safety protocols
- 9Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines
Requirements6
- 13+ years fabrication experience with structural and/or miscellaneous steel
- 2Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- 3Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols
- 4Strong mechanical aptitude for cutting grinding and material preparation
- 5Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and work in demanding shop conditions
- 6Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations
