Own the administrative support for the Head of School at MCA, enabling smooth operations for a private K-12 program. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage the Head of School calendar, schedule meetings, and prepare planning materials for weekly priorities
- 2Draft staff communications and official correspondence to support school operations and parent relations
- 3Coordinate presentations, agendas, surveys, and written materials for staff, parents, and leadership teams
- 4Coordinate culture initiatives and recognition programs, including events and monthly audits
- 5Maintain a welcoming office environment, manage supplies, and uphold professional meeting spaces
- 6Manage mail, conference room upkeep, and on-campus meal logistics for meetings
- 7Register leadership for conferences and professional development, including travel arrangements
- 8Support professional development tracking by entering CEUs and maintaining records
- 9Update the annual school schedule binder and organize annual planning documents
- 10Assist the Head of School with special projects to advance school priorities
Requirements9
- 1Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant executive administrative experience required
- 2Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- 3Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with staff, parents, students, and visitors
- 4Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional emails and reports
- 5High attention to detail with accurate recordkeeping and task follow-through
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace in email, calendar, documents, and presentations
- 7Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- 8Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and school needs
- 9Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
