Events and Corporate Partnerships Manager, Nonprofit Fundraising
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of Lazarus House Ministries signature fundraising events, from planning to execution, while building corporate partnerships that generate $60,000-$80,000 in annual revenue. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead event committees, manage sponsors, and track outcomes using Raiser's Edge and Excel. This role blends event management and corporate relations, with direct impact on mission-driven growth.
What You'll Do9
- 1Plan and execute all signature fundraising events within budget, managing timelines, vendors, and logistics from pre-event to post-event.
- 2Build and manage a portfolio of corporate donors, developing sponsorship packages and stewardship plans to meet annual revenue goals.
- 3Coordinate with marketing to create event calendars, promotional materials, and social media campaigns that maximize attendance and engagement.
- 4Recruit and train volunteers for event support, ensuring smooth day-of operations.
- 5Solicit and procure auction items, maintaining databases for online auction platforms.
- 6Track and report on event metrics using Excel and Raiser's Edge, analyzing feedback to improve future events.
- 7Cultivate existing sponsors for renewals and upgrades while researching new corporate prospects aligned with the mission.
- 8Collaborate with internal stakeholders and committees to ensure successful event execution, including travel to offsite locations.
- 9Serve on the Employee Engagement Committee, assisting with internal event planning and logistics.
Requirements10
- 1BA/BS in business, marketing, event planning, communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 24+ years in event planning, fundraising, or corporate sponsorship environment, with proven success securing corporate partnerships.
- 3Experience managing multiple priorities and budgets, with strong organizational and project management skills.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, ideally Raiser's Edge.
- 5Familiarity with social media platforms and peer-to-peer fundraising tools like One Cause.
- 6Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for design materials.
- 7Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and all levels of an organization.
- 8Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
- 9Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- 10Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within Greater Boston/Southern NH.
