Development Operations Associate at Saint Francis House Inc
Overview
Saint Francis House seeks a Development Operations Associate to lead gift processing and donor relations at our Boston facility. You will manage donations through Raiser’s Edge and ensure timely acknowledgments while supporting development initiatives. What You'll Do7
- 1Process all gifts received at 39 Boylston Street and coordinate with lockbox partners
- 2Maintain accurate donor records within the Raiser’s Edge database
- 3Prepare and mail donor acknowledgments for approximately 25,000 gifts annually
- 4Respond to donor inquiries via front desk and forward questions to appropriate staff
- 5Send weekly reports of $500+ gifts to the Development team
- 6Provide administrative support for special projects aligned with fundraising priorities
- 7Adhere to agency code of conduct and perform additional assigned tasks
Requirements9
- 1Self-directed with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
- 4High reliability flexibility and commitment to person-centered trauma-informed practices
- 5High school diploma with three years administrative experience or associate’s degree with relevant training
- 6Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Raisers’ Edge and data entry expertise
- 7Lived experience of homelessness or recovery is a plus
- 8Ability to lift ten pounds and stand/move throughout multi-level spaces
- 9Flexibility for occasional evenings holidays and weekends
