Development Associate Special Events HSS
Overview
The Development Associate, Special Events supports the Special Events and Communications & Stewardship teams in executing fundraising events and cultivating donor relationships. What You'll Do11
- 1Build and manage logistics for galas benefits celebrations dedications investments and major campaigns
- 2Design copy and coordinate production for event collateral including invitations programs and signage
- 3Process invoices and vendor payments while maintaining accurate event budgets
- 4Assist with cultivation events lectures and dinners through collaboration with Development Directors
- 5Attend all events and perform additional duties as assigned
- 6Support stewardship communications by preparing and proofreading letters and managing donor materials
- 7Track stewardship activities in Raiser’s Edge and maintain donor interaction records
- 8Coordinate inventory ordering for branded items and stewardship collateral
- 9Maintain library of development communications materials
- 10Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders
- 11Demonstrate independent initiative and creativity in achieving fundraising goals
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years event management experience
- 2Minimum 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 33-5 seasons leading fundraising initiatives
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge database systems
- 5Ability to work evenings and weekends with travel flexibility
- 6Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 7Excellent interpersonal abilities and a positive team-oriented attitude
- 8Commitment to advancing HSS mission and upholding organizational values
Salary Insight
$48 - $68k per year
