What You'll Do11
- 1Bid and estimate while outlining subcontractor scope
- 2Provide accurate estimates and assist in finding profitable work
- 3Maintain qualified database of subcontractors for competitive bidding
- 4Partner across project marketing and preconstruction teams
- 5Minimize job costs by communicating scopes with subcontractors and vendors
- 6Identify potential project risks and engage with marketing during proposal processes
- 7Analyze company costs to estimate project expenses
- 8Communicate with owners architects engineers and project teams
- 9Prepare conceptual estimates and budgets for upcoming projects
- 10Perform detailed quantity take-offs and provide scope sheets
- 11Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits
Requirements7
- 1BS/BA in Engineering or Construction Management recommended
- 2Minimum of 4 years estimating commercial construction projects
- 3Knowledge of architecture engineering and construction
- 4Strong ability to analyze project drawings specifications and RFPs
- 5High proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office
- 6Ability to perform turnover meetings and close out reviews
- 7Strong mechanical plumbing electrical experience preferred
