What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare accurate estimates and perform quantity takeoffs for commercial roofing projects
- 2Review plans and specifications to validate technical accuracy
- 3Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing for material cost calculations
- 4Align bids with company profitability targets and budget constraints
- 5Collaborate with project managers and field teams to resolve discrepancies
- 6Maintain detailed documentation of estimation methodologies and assumptions
- 7Drive continuous improvement in estimating processes and software utilization
- 8Develop relationships with customers general contractors and suppliers
- 9Analyze market trends to inform pricing strategies and service offerings
Requirements8
- 15+ years commercial roofing estimating experience
- 2Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems materials and installation methods
- 3Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- 4Experience working across multiple markets or branch locations
- 5CPC Card certification preferred
- 6AWS Certified cloud solutions knowledge beneficial
- 7BCBA certification valued
- 8Degree in construction management engineering or related field required
