Estimator, Commercial Installation & Cost Analysis
Overview
You will own cost estimation for commercial beverage gas projects across the U.S., delivering accurate proposals that drive project profitability. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Drafting, and Project Management teams, using Microsoft Excel to analyze labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. This role offers direct exposure to the full project lifecycle and a path to grow within a fast-scaling compliance leader.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to define scope.
- 2Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations using Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- 3Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to build competitive proposals.
- 4Coordinate with internal departments to validate estimate accuracy and project feasibility.
- 5Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure current pricing and product data.
- 6Maintain estimating documentation, project files, and supporting records.
- 7Support bid preparation, revisions, and seamless project handoffs to Project Management.
- 8Drive process improvements in estimating documentation and workflows.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in estimating, construction, or commercial services (preferred).
- 22+ years using Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and data management.
- 3Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- 4Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cost and scope assessments.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
- 6Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- 7High attention to detail and organizational discipline.
- 8Familiarity with estimating software or ERP systems (preferred).
