Estimator - Commercial
Overview
Everforth CyberCoders seeks an experienced Commercial Estimator to produce accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. The role supports preconstruction and bidding activities collaborates with project teams and subcontractors and drives informed decisions through detailed cost analysis.
What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare complete detailed timely cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial projects including takeoffs material labor and equipment costs
- 2Analyze design documents drawings specifications and RFPs to identify scope risks and value engineering opportunities
- 3Solicit evaluate coordinate subcontractor and supplier quotes develop bid comparisons and recommendation summaries
- 4Collaborate with project managers superintendents designers and owners during preconstruction to align scope schedule and budget
- 5Maintain and update estimating databases historical cost data assemblies and unit price libraries
- 6Demonstrate expertise in commercial estimating fundamentals accurate takeoffs unit costing assemblies and bid preparation
- 7Show strong knowledge of construction means and methods scheduling impacts and trade scopes in commercial sectors
- 8Utilize industry estimating software and takeoff tools such as Bluebeam Planswift On-Screen Takeoff Sage Estimating
- 9Move candidates with relevant skills to the front of the application process
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in commercial construction estimation
- 3Proficiency with construction estimating fundamentals accurate takeoffs unit costing assemblies and bid preparation
- 4Knowledge of scheduling impacts and trade scopes in commercial sectors
- 5Certification such as CPC Card BCBA AWS Certified
- 6Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
- 7Education in construction management or related field
- 8Certification in Lean Six Sigma or PMP preferred
- 9Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
- 10Skills in data analysis and reporting
- 11Experience with BIM software integration
