- 4Gather first-hand site information and meet subcontractors
- 5Research labor costs materials and production times
- 6Use software for data analysis forecasting and budgeting
- 7Manage RFPs due dates cost billing information
- 8Obtain vendor offers and quotes
- 9Generate sales through client trust and accurate bids
- 10Perform risk analysis for projects lasting six months or longer
- 11Create and submit estimate reports or bids
- 12Send proposals over $100,000 to Director for approval
- 13Build vendor relationships and provide planning consultations
- 14Maintain strong communication with clients and internal staff
Requirements5
- 15+ years building estimates with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in estimation roles
- 3Certified Professional Estimator (CPE)
- 4Proficiency in Python and AWS
- 5Strong mathematical and IT abilities
Salary Insight
$60 - $90k per year
