What You'll Do7

  • 1Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all safety, PPE, and hazardous-waste handling protocols.
  • 2Perform cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas: mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal, and window cleaning.
  • 3Clean and maintain floors and carpets facility-wide, including sweeping, scrubbing, buffing, extracting, and shampooing.
  • 4Support facility upkeep by tidying common areas and reporting maintenance needs to the Manager.
  • 5Cross-train across all EVS functions, covering resident apartments, healthcare areas, and floor maintenance.
  • 6Work independently with minimal supervision, adhering to established cleaning and safety procedures.
  • 7Interact courteously with residents, team members, and visitors to foster a positive community atmosphere.

Requirements5

  • 16 months of housekeeping experience (required).
  • 2Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 3Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform basic physical tasks.
  • 4Ability to work well with others, being courteous and considerate when interacting with residents, team members, and visitors.
  • 5Willingness to work full-time with varied schedules, including holiday and weekend rotation.
