Environmental Health Safety Specialist Catalent
Overview
Manage day-to-day environmental health and safety functions at the Windsor site ensuring highest safety levels while supporting compliance risk management and sustainability initiatives. Lead Joint Health and Safety Committee and coordinate security programs.
What You'll Do7
- 1Ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations permits licenses and catalent standards
- 2Facilitate training in environmental health and safety requirements develop standards procedures and programs aligned with catalent standards
- 3Conduct risk assessments job task and safety analyses and behavior observations to detect unsafe acts or behaviors
- 4Lead or co chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee according to terms of reference
- 5Support environmental protection sustainability initiatives including waste reduction energy use and water use reduction
- 6Manage security programs visitor management access control CCTV management and incident reporting
- 7Perform other duties as required
Requirements5
- 1College diploma or bachelor degree in science engineering human resources or related field
- 23+ years of experience working in health and safety capacity
- 3Occupational Health and Safety Certificate is an asset
- 4Canadian Registered Safety Professional CRSP designation is an asset
- 5Experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP facilities preferred
