What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and promote a proactive safety culture focused on employee engagement, hazard recognition, and risk reduction
- 2Ensure compliance with OSHA EPA DOT and other applicable safety and environmental regulations
- 3Conduct workplace inspections risk assessments safety audits and incident investigations
- 4Develop and deliver safety environmental and energy management training programs
- 5Support and maintain ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 management systems
- 6Lead sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives that reduce environmental impact
- 7Manage environmental compliance programs including waste management emissions control and spill prevention
- 8Track and analyze key SHE performance metrics and present findings to leadership
- 9Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills and preparedness activities
- 10Partner with operations maintenance quality and logistics teams to integrate SHE best practices
- 11Drive continuous improvement across organizational operations
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Safety Environmental Health Engineering Industrial Hygiene or related field or equivalent experience
- 22+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 32+ years of experience in a Safety Health and Environmental role
- 4Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations environmental compliance requirements and industrial safety practices
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- 6Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time between Philadelphia PA and West Columbia SC
- 7Professional certifications such as CSP CIH OHST or QEP or similar
- 8Experience with pressure-sensitive adhesive coatings chemicals or related manufacturing industries
