Entry Level Attorney, Insurance Claims - Dallas
Overview
You will pursue insurance claims for clients at MLF Legal, PLLC, with direct impact on their lives. No experience required; training provided. You will join a collaborative team that aggressively pursues claims in a laid-back environment, working Monday-Friday, 8-5, with no overtime required.
What You'll Do8
- 1Handle insurance claims from start to finish, including investigation, negotiation, and resolution.
- 2Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurers to advance claims.
- 3Draft legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
- 4Appear in court or at hearings as needed for claim-related matters.
- 5Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and share insights.
- 6Manage a caseload efficiently, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
- 7Stay updated on Texas insurance laws and regulations.
- 8Represent clients in mediations and settlement conferences.
Requirements6
- 1Licensed to practice law in Texas or actively pursuing licensure (including awaiting bar exam results).
- 2Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3Outgoing personality, comfortable interacting with clients and opposing parties.
- 4Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5No prior experience required; entry-level candidates welcome.
- 6Must be willing to work onsite in Dallas, Texas.
