What You'll Do9
- 1Develop and maintain robust ETL processes for locates data ingestion transformation and loading
- 2Design scalable solutions for large data volumes optimizing for performance and cost
- 3Engage external teams to create data pipelines from sources like 811 one call centers and ticket management systems
- 4Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- 5Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to maintain efficient data flow
- 6Document data structures and processes for cross-team understanding
- 7Identify improvements to enhance data quality and processing efficiency
- 8Ensure compliance with governance standards cybersecurity and best practices
- 9Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Science Data Science or related field
- 25+ years of data engineering experience including pipeline development and ETL
- 3Proficiency in SQL Python and cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
- 4Familiarity with Bash Linux and GIS data ticket management systems
- 5Experience with DevOps Git and collaborative tools Jira Confluence
