What You'll Do10

  • 1Build targeted language and academic instruction for English learners using AZELLA and progress-monitoring data
  • 2Design and deliver supplemental Title III services outside core ELD instruction
  • 3Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and school staff to coordinate English learner services
  • 4Track student language acquisition and academic progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • 5Maintain program records and documentation of supplemental Title III activities
  • 6Provide professional development and instructional support to teachers serving English learners
  • 7Participate in MTSS and student-support teams addressing language-development needs
  • 8Administer or assist with diagnostic and progress-monitoring assessments
  • 9Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the community
  • 10Complete Time and Effort documentation and maintain required certifications and qualifications

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
  • 2Certification Required ESL, Bilingual, or SEI Endorsement
  • 3Teaching license required
  • 4Pass criminal history background check
  • 5Strong communication and organizational skills
  • 6Ability to handle multiple tasks and collaborate with staff
  • 7Experience designing lessons to meet state and district requirements
  • 8Ability to employ varied teaching strategies and best practices for curriculum
  • 9Experience collecting and maintaining student progress and program records
  • 10Willingness to travel locally for professional development and site coverage
