Own the English Learner Program support across K-8 grades at a dynamic Phoenix campus. What You'll Do10
- 1Build targeted language and academic instruction for English learners using AZELLA and progress-monitoring data
- 2Design and deliver supplemental Title III services outside core ELD instruction
- 3Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and school staff to coordinate English learner services
- 4Track student language acquisition and academic progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- 5Maintain program records and documentation of supplemental Title III activities
- 6Provide professional development and instructional support to teachers serving English learners
- 7Participate in MTSS and student-support teams addressing language-development needs
- 8Administer or assist with diagnostic and progress-monitoring assessments
- 9Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the community
- 10Complete Time and Effort documentation and maintain required certifications and qualifications
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- 2Certification Required ESL, Bilingual, or SEI Endorsement
- 3Teaching license required
- 4Pass criminal history background check
- 5Strong communication and organizational skills
- 6Ability to handle multiple tasks and collaborate with staff
- 7Experience designing lessons to meet state and district requirements
- 8Ability to employ varied teaching strategies and best practices for curriculum
- 9Experience collecting and maintaining student progress and program records
- 10Willingness to travel locally for professional development and site coverage
