Overview
Own subcontractor scopes valued from $500k to $10m, driving schedule and financial outcomes on Linbeck projects. Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and owners through RFI and Submittal processes. Run QA/QC with Autodesk and Lean methods. This role offers direct impact on project delivery and safety.
What You'll Do7
- 1Implement the Linbeck Site Specific Safety Program, including BBS and Safety Walks, for assigned scopes.
- 2Read drawings and specifications to ensure contractual compliance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
- 3Create and manage RFI logs, composing clear RFIs and distributing documentation to project stakeholders.
- 4Manage submittal logs, using pull scheduling to set priority dates and verify correctness of shop drawings.
- 5Coordinate QA/QC with subcontractors through Autodesk checklists and issue tracking.
- 6Execute the Lean Operating System, including Daily Huddles and Continuous Improvement, to reduce the 8 Wastes.
- 7Compile closeout documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, as-builts, and attic stock.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business plus 3+ months of internship experience.
- 24+ years of construction project work with Linbeck, an MEPF subcontractor, or design firm in lieu of a degree.
- 3Skilled in RFI and Submittal processes, including log management and documentation control.
- 4Proficient with Autodesk for QA/QC management and issue tracking.
- 5Knowledge of building methods, materials, and sequencing for MEPF systems.
- 6Ability to compose and manage contract documents, including GMP and Lump Sum estimates.
- 7Current driver’s license and ability to work on-site at project locations.
