Overview

Coordinate EMTF logistics, resource readiness, and deployment for the North Central Texas region. You will manage AMBUS units, MCI trailers, and communications equipment, ensuring assets are deploy-ready. Collaborate with healthcare coalition partners and regional response agencies to strengthen resource visibility. This role balances day-to-day warehouse operations with 24/7 incident support, making it central to emergency preparedness.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Coordinate EMTF logistics and resource support to keep deployable assets ready for regional emergencies.
  • 2Support incident activations by tracking personnel and resources with EMResource and Everbridge.
  • 3Maintain readiness of AMBUS units, MCI trailers, and communications equipment through scheduled checks.
  • 4Update deployment rosters and asset reports in Excel and SharePoint to ensure accurate situational awareness.
  • 5Move and stage emergency supplies using Forklift operations and warehouse inventory systems.
  • 6Monitor resource requests in EMResource and allocate inventory across TSA-E, TSA-C, and TSA-D.
  • 7Staff the Medical Coordination Center during activations, including 24/7 duty officer rotations.
  • 8Manage warehouse layout and inventory with QuickBooks or similar tools, ensuring compliance with grant standards.
  • 9Receive and document incoming PPE and durable medical equipment, maintaining accurate logs.
  • 10Draft logistics plans and procedures in Word and PowerPoint for operational continuity.

Requirements9

  • 12+ years in emergency healthcare, logistics, or resource management, with ICS 100/200/700/800 training or completion within 6 months.
  • 2Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days; Class A license preferred.
  • 3Current Forklift Operator Certificate from OSHA-approved training or obtain within 90 days.
  • 4Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook for tracking and reporting.
  • 5Knowledge of EMResource, Everbridge, and Pulsara for regional crisis coordination.
  • 6Experience with disaster response and TDMS preferred.
  • 7Clinical credential (LP, EMT-P, EMT-B, RN, LVN) or EMS administration background preferred.
  • 8Ability to travel regionally and occasionally out of state for deployments and training.
  • 9Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public health, or logistics preferred; experience may substitute.
