Preparedness and Response Coordinator (HCC-E) DFW Area
Overview
NCTTRAC seeks a Response Coordinator to lead healthcare coalition emergency preparedness in Trauma Service Area E. This full-time role ensures regional plans align with regional emergency management partners and supports training and exercise programs. The ideal candidate assists with emergency response activities in Arlington TX and travels to partner facilities. This position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and maintain NCTTRAC emergency and disaster plans including the Healthcare Coalition E Regional Preparedness Strategy
- 2Create and sustain the HCC-E Training & Exercise Program featuring the Multi Year Integrated Preparedness Plan and Medical Response Surge Exercise
- 3Coordinate Crisis Applications Training and oversee Annual Tabletop Exercises covering new response annexes
- 4Support the Regional Emergency Preparedness Committee and Disaster Clinical Advisory Group meetings
- 5Perform annual visits to partner facilities for disaster planning and response activities
- 6Conduct updates to the Hazard Vulnerability Assessment/Analysis
- 7Maintain current knowledge of emergency processes through research and conferences
- 8Lead drills to test plans and identify readiness gaps
- 9Assist the Emergency Medical Task Force during state missions
- 10Communicate effectively with physicians, elected officials, and C-Level leadership
- 11Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading public health initiatives
- 3Minimum of two (2) years experience in emergency management or related fields
- 4Current Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 6Experience with Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS)
- 7Background check consent and willingness to provide credentials
