Overview

The Emergency Medical Services Faculty leads learning across campus distance and clinical sites. This role owns curriculum design delivery and student success initiatives. Unique focus on inclusive EMS education for diverse learners.

Requirements11

  • 1Associate degree in Emergency Medical Services with current licensure
  • 2Three years non-teaching EMS work experience
  • 3Current Texas DSHS Paramedic certification preferred
  • 4Proven ability to teach diverse student populations
  • 5Strong communication skills verbal written and listening
  • 6Experience with educational technology and LMS platforms
  • 7Commitment to servant leadership and collaborative teamwork
  • 8Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends
  • 9Understanding of challenges faced by underprepared student groups
  • 10Dedication to continuous professional development
