What You'll Do11
- 1Manage all policy activity and stewardship aspects in assigned book of business
- 2Analyze and report on claims data for larger accounts identifying trends and benchmark comparisons
- 3Ensure client compliance with benefits regulations and serve as informed resource regarding ACA impacts
- 4Sustain knowledge of government regulations ensuring legal compliance with FMLA COBRA ACA ERISA and other applicable laws
- 5Promote culture of vigilance accountability and client satisfaction through strong organizational skills
- 6Maintain accuracy timeliness and completion when interacting with clients and partners
- 7Manage large accounts independently without leadership oversight
- 8Review existing accounts to identify opportunities for additional coverage or necessary changes
- 9Cultivate relationships with insurance company partners and manage evolving priorities
- 10Bring issues and discrepancies to leadership attention
- 11Complete special projects as assigned
Requirements9
- 1Obtain and maintain state insurance license(s) as required by state department of insurance
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management Accounting Finance Business or related field preferred
- 3Certified Employee Benefits Specialist CEBS SPHR or PHR preferred
- 4Minimum of five years insurance or benefits related experience including leading account management teams
- 5Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint Publisher Outlook Excel and Word
- 6Ability to learn appropriate insurance company and firm software systems
- 7Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills for clear audience engagement
- 8Demonstrated capability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
- 9Alignment with firm values emphasizing client-centric approach
