Employee Health & Benefits Client Manager
Overview
We seek a skilled professional to lead client relationships and benefits programs. You will build relationships oversee administer programs strategic plan collaborate ensure compliance provide vendor management support during open enrollment train staff resolve issues and develop materials. This role differs by focusing on client success and regulatory adherence.
What You'll Do15
- 1Build and maintain strong client relationships serve as primary point of contact for health and benefits inquiries
- 2Oversee implementation and administration of employee health and benefits programs including insurance dental vision and wellness initiatives
- 3Collaborate with clients to assess needs develop tailored benefits solutions aligned with organizational goals
- 4Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including ERISA HIPAA and ACA requirements
- 5Prepare and present reports on benefits utilization claims trends and program effectiveness
- 6Liaise with insurance carriers and vendors to negotiate contracts resolve issues and guarantee service delivery
- 7Lead open enrollment process including communication strategies employee education and enrollment logistics
- 8Provide training and support on benefits programs changes and best practices
- 9Address client issues related to claims plan administration and service delivery promptly
- 10Work closely with internal teams such as sales underwriting and compliance to ensure seamless service
- 11Assist Employee Health & Benefits Producer and team in servicing existing accounts renewals and maintaining customer files
- 12Develop communication materials like Benefit Enrollment Guides and coordinate enrollment meetings
- 13Review Summary Plan Documents and agreements for accuracy assist clients with HIPAA COBRA FLEX ERISA resources
- 14Verify accuracy and completion of enrollment applications transmit to carriers assist policyholders with claim forms policy changes and cancellations
- 15Meet with qualified candidates possessing relevant background
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 years experience in employee benefits insurance or account management preferring brokerage or agency environment
- 3Strong knowledge of health and benefits regulations and industry trends
- 4Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook
- 6Analytical problem-solving abilities
- 7Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- 8Commitment to providing exceptional client service
- 9Life & Health resident agents license required
