Overview
Email Migration Engineer on a large-scale enterprise messaging and collaboration transformation program. Drive migration of mailboxes from legacy systems to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online. Lead the technical execution, from assessment to automation, and work with a dynamic team of engineers. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and execute migration plans for Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 using MigrationWiz or native tools.
- 2Develop scripts in PowerShell to automate pre-migration checks and post-migration validation.
- 3Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule migration waves and minimize user impact.
- 4Troubleshoot migration errors and resolve issues with Azure AD Connect and directory synchronization.
- 5Document migration processes and maintain runbooks for repeatability.
- 6Collaborate with security team to ensure compliance with Data Loss Prevention policies.
- 7Report migration progress and KPI metrics to project management.
- 8Optimize migration performance by analyzing network bandwidth and throttling settings.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in email migration engineering with Exchange and Outlook.
- 2Hands-on experience with Movere, BitTitan, or Quest migration tools.
- 3Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
- 4Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and SMTP routing.
- 52+ years in Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
- 6Experience with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive migration.
- 7Familiarity with PST capture and legal hold requirements.
- 8Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
