Electronic Warfare Engineer Principal
Overview
Northrop Grumman seeks a self‑starter to lead integrated product teams developing revolutionary systems. The EW Engineer will own deployed assets coordinate logistics and drive performance improvements while collaborating across engineering operations and logistics. This role combines technical depth with leadership to shape the future of electronic warfare.
What You'll Do11
- 1Track deployed assets and generate status reports for statistical analysis and anomaly detection
- 2Coordinate with Integrated Logistics Support team and manage return of Line Replaceable Units
- 3Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure asset availability and timely repair
- 4Provide guidance on operation and maintenance of assets to support mission readiness
- 5Lead readiness reviews site specific training test briefs and debriefs
- 6Perform post‑test analysis of logs and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- 7Support pre‑test activities including test planning and verification of operational specifications
- 8Coordinate anomalies with engineering and supplier subject matter experts
- 9Review service bulletins and new NG discrepancy reports while tracking existing reports
- 10Obtain and maintain active US Government Top Secret Clearance and SAP
- 11Collaborate in team environments to develop solutions that enhance organizational credibility
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 2 years engineering experience or Master’s with relevant experience
- 2Active US Government Top Secret Clearance with background investigation within 6 years
- 3Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance as needed
- 4Experience working with EW airborne payload systems
- 5Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and report findings
- 6Demonstrated teamwork and decision‑making under pressure
- 7Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
- 8U.S. citizenship required for clearance positions
