Overview

Lead electronic warfare strategy and execution to align electromagnetic effects with operational goals. Own development of EW concepts and coordinate planning across joint interagency and multinational partners. Ensure effective spectrum management and operational readiness.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Plan electronic attack protection and support activities to match operational objectives and commander priorities
  • 2Integrate EW effects with cyber information fires and maneuver to create operational advantage
  • 3Develop EW concepts for OPLAN CONPLAN OPORD and annex documentation
  • 4Analyze adversary electromagnetic systems to guide targeting protection and deception efforts
  • 5Coordinate EW planning with joint interagency and multinational partners for interoperability
  • 6Assess EW effectiveness and operational risks to recommend adjustments in dynamic environments
  • 7Support JEMSO cell management and implementation of JEMSO operations
  • 8Provide recommendations for employment adjustments based on evolving threats and constraints
  • 9Assist in Joint Enemy Situation Overview (JEMSO) management tasks
  • 10Ensure compliance with spectrum management and operational requirements
  • 11Drive initiatives to optimize electromagnetic battle management and spectrum control orders

Requirements8

  • 1Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
  • 2Bachelor’s degree in applicable field with 5+ years experience as Electronic Warfare Planner
  • 37+ years experience managing EW/Joint EM Spectrum Operations at CCMD or Joint Task Force level
  • 4Proven experience briefing senior leadership on operational concepts
  • 5Completion of recognized EW planning courses such as Electronic Warfare Officer’s Course
  • 6Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
  • 7Demonstrated expertise in electromagnetic battle management and spectrum control
  • 8Experience developing Joint Restricted Frequency Lists and spectrum management orders
