Overview

You will lead defensive cyberspace planning for the DCDC mission, shaping operations across DoD networks. Working with DISA GSM-O II, you'll integrate JIPOE and apply operational art to develop plans that meet Commander's intent. You'll guide multi-stakeholder teams through the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and produce CONOPS, OPLANS, and mission orders. What You'll Do9

  • 1Lead deliberate planning using the Joint Planning Process (JPP) for defensive cyberspace operations.
  • 2Support Crisis Action Planning by applying JPP frameworks under tight timelines.
  • 3Develop and staff CONOPS and Level 1-4 plans such as BPLANS, CONPLANS, and OPLANS.
  • 4Integrate JIPOE inputs into cyberspace planning products.
  • 5Coordinate with joint staff and combatant commands to de-conflict plans.
  • 6Author mission type orders synchronizing defensive cyberspace campaigns.
  • 7Develop assessment indicators to measure operational effectiveness.
  • 8Brief SES and GO/FO leadership on planning outcomes.
  • 9Lead Operational Planning Teams and working groups to achieve mission end states.

Requirements6

  • 112+ years of combined education and experience in cyber planning or related fields.
  • 2Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for C/I Polygraph.
  • 3JPME II certification or qualification.
  • 4Working knowledge of JP 3-12 and JP 5-0 planning doctrine.
  • 5Experience briefing SES and GO/FO leadership.
  • 6Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
