Electronic Hardware Design Engineer
Overview
Cornelis Networks delivers world‑class scale‑out networking solutions for AI and HPC datacenters. The ElectronicsHardware Engineer will own platform and board level architectures from concept to end‑of‑life. This role drives innovation across multiple U.S. states and six countries while collaborating with global teams.
What You'll Do9
- 1Collaborate with software engineering mechanical engineering and marketing to define platform and board specifications schedules and cost targets
- 2Develop system and board architectures to implement next‑generation Fabric platforms
- 3Evaluate and select components to meet design goals
- 4Create engineering documentation to support designs
- 5Produce design files including schematics entry FPGA code and source code
- 6Oversee PCB layout and support software integration
- 7Assist system test department during product qualification
- 8Ensure compliance and regulatory testing
- 9Work with mechanical software and manufacturing teams to move products into production
Requirements10
- 1BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 25+ years designing and debugging platform/test cards in lab
- 3Proficiency with digital board design signal integrity board layout tools and schematic capture (Cadence ORCAD Mentor Graphics)
- 4Strong system level debug skills to determine root causes of technical issues
- 5Experience with lab equipment such as DMM oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- 7Preferred knowledge of Cadence Concept schematic tools Allegro CAD FPGAs programmable logic devices Verilog and programming languages C Python Visual Basic Perl TCL RTL
- 8Familiarity with power integrity simulation timing analysis and functional simulation
- 9Completed board and system development projects
- 10Location within reasonable commuting distance of Chesterbrook Corporate Center in Wayne PA
