Electronic Bench Technician
Overview
Lead precision electronic assembly tasks at a defense-focused facility. Oversees bench operations and ensures compliance with strict SOPs and IPC/J-STD standards. Requires proven experience in manual soldering and defect-free production.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform precision soldering and assembly using advanced hand-soldering tools
- 2Utilize microscopes and magnifying lamps for delicate SMT and through-hole soldering
- 3Rework and modify delicate circuit boards while monitoring quality standards
- 4Ensure solder joints meet aerospace and defense tolerances
- 5Maintain ESD-safe workspace adhering to LOTO protocols
- 6Obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
- 7Pass hands-on practical soldering and assembly bench assessment
- 8Work extended hours/overtime as required
Requirements7
- 1U.S. citizenship required for immediate defense facility access
- 2High school diploma and 3+ years electronics manufacturing experience
- 3Proven ability to read complex engineering blueprints and schematics
- 4Expert proficiency with soldering irons desoldering tools crimpers and wire strippers
- 5Exceptional manual dexterity and visual perception for microscope work
- 6Ability to maintain compliance with IPC/J-STD standards
- 7Strong commitment to safety and quality control processes
