Overview

You will assemble and test basic to intermediate mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies for aerospace OEMs. Working onsite in Creedmoor, NC on 2nd shift, you will follow blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to meet quality and safety standards. The role requires proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators, plus soldering and crimping skills. TIG weld and resistance weld experience gives you an edge. You will join a team that has doubled in size since 2019, with clear paths for growth.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Assemble and test mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub and top assemblies using blueprints and schematics.
  • 2Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and scales to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • 3Perform cleaning, soldering, winding, safety wire, wire crimp, marking, etching, and varnishing per work instructions.
  • 4Comply with SDS guidelines, safety procedures, and quality standards for every task.
  • 5Document work accurately in hard copy and electronic formats, ensuring traceability.
  • 6Collaborate with the Production Cell Leader to meet daily output and quality goals.
  • 7Support continuous improvement by identifying and reporting process issues.
  • 8Operate TIG welders and resistance welders when assigned.

Requirements7

  • 1High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2Aerospace industry experience preferred.
  • 3Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • 4Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and basic computer skills.
  • 5Experience with TIG weld and resistance weld is a plus.
  • 6Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • 7U.S. Person status required per export control regulations.
