What You'll Do11
- 1Interpret and follow blueprints diagrams schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and configuration of systems
- 2Install and maintain trade specific equipment systems and building infrastructure according to industry standards and codes
- 3Test electrical plumbing and HVAC systems for functionality continuity and compliance with safety operational standards
- 4Inspect systems identify assess and mitigate safety risks aligned with company and industry safety policies
- 5Follow safety protocols including lock-out tag-out procedures to prevent accidents
- 6Adhere to national state and local codes such as NEC plumbing and HVAC regulations
- 7Maintain a clean and safe working environment observing housekeeping practices and safety standards
- 8Coordinate with contractors electricians HVAC technicians and other trades to integrate worksite activities seamlessly
- 9Communicate effectively with team members superintendents and project managers to meet deadlines
- 10Mentor apprentices and co-workers in safe practices technical skills and proper tool usage
- 11Organize required materials tools and equipment manage inventory and submit supply requests
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or GED
- 2Proven experience installing maintenance and troubleshooting electrical plumbing or HVAC systems
- 3Valid driver's license
- 4Ability to read and comprehend written English material
- 5Completion of apprentice program or earlier technical program
- 6Proficiency in MS Office Suite Procore and Fieldwire or similar software
- 7Physical stamina to stand walk bend squat sit and lift up to 50 lbs
- 8Willingness to work in all weather conditions wearing appropriate PPE
