Overview

Build and lead industrial electrical crews for BW Industrial Construction projects across Texas. You will run field operations, direct electricians and supporting trades, and ensure installations meet NEC and OSHA standards. This role requires travel and offers a path to grow a reliable electrical team. You will own project execution from layout to final testing, with high visibility among project managers and engineers.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead and supervise electrical crews, including electricians, laborers, and subcontractors, on industrial projects.
  • 2Plan and assign daily work to hit project milestones, adjusting crew allocation as priorities shift.
  • 3Oversee installation, routing, and termination of industrial systems, conduit, cable tray, equipment, and panels.
  • 4Inspect work quality against drawings, specs, NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and client standards; correct issues on the spot.
  • 5Enforce PPE and site-specific safety protocols, holding crew accountable for a zero-incident jobsite.
  • 6Diagnose field problems, from voltage issues to layout conflicts, and implement quick fixes that avoid rework.
  • 7Communicate daily progress, manpower needs, and material requirements to project managers and engineers.
  • 8Manage tools, equipment, and electrical materials on site, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
  • 9Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, building a pipeline of skilled electricians for upcoming projects.
  • 10Maintain accurate daily logs covering labor hours, materials, progress, and safety notes.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years in industrial electrical construction, with hands-on conduit bending, terminations, and equipment installation.
  • 21-2 years leading helpers, apprentices, or crews on industrial or heavy commercial projects.
  • 3Strong knowledge of industrial systems, including motor controls, transformers, and switchgear.
  • 4Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and installation details with accuracy.
  • 5Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and MEP trades to resolve clashes and keep schedule on track.
  • 6Proficiency with BlueBeam or similar software is preferred.
  • 7Texas Journeyman Electrician License or NCCER Electrical certification strongly preferred.
  • 8OSHA 10/30 or NFPA 70E training required.
  • 9Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willing to travel to project sites as needed.
  • 10Pass background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
