Overview

What You'll Do10

  • 1Perform PCB soldering including fine-pitch component assembly under a microscope
  • 2Execute optical component assembly and testing procedures in cleanroom environments
  • 3Debug custom PCBs based on schematics and perform rework to identify failure causes
  • 4Develop and document new lab processes for assembly and testing
  • 5Engage in 3D printing and prototype development while managing inventory and procuring parts
  • 6Collaborate with engineers to create samples and improve manufacturing workflows
  • 7Apply strong mechanical aptitude to handle precision parts and use microscopes effectively
  • 8Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adopt new software rapidly
  • 9Communicate issues clearly both written and verbally
  • 10Support hardware development for real-world shipping products

Requirements6

  • 1Graduation from a technical college with mechanical or electrical technical diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2Extremely hands-on with strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • 3Strong mechanical aptitude comfortable using microscopes and handling small precision parts
  • 4Careful attention to detail and logical problem-solving approach
  • 5Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • 63D printing experience preferred
