Doorstep Waste Removal, Part-Time (Nashville)
Overview
You'll own nightly doorstep trash and recycling collection for 340,000+ multifamily units across the country. You'll use Butler Plus's mobile app for timekeeping and reporting, and your own open-bed pickup truck to transport bagged trash to on-site dumpsters. This part-time contract role operates Sunday through Thursday evenings, from 8:00pm until finished (about 1-2 hours). You'll join a company featured in The Wall Street Journal and on CNBC, and you'll stand out by working independently and quietly while maintaining high service standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep using the assigned trash tote or cart during service evenings.
- 2Transport collected trash safely using your open-bed pickup truck or cart to on-site dumpsters, compactors, or chute rooms.
- 3Log time and check-in/out using the Butler Plus field app on your smartphone.
- 4Perform additional services as needed: porter service, bulk item hauling, pet station waste removal, pressure washing, and compactor clean-up.
- 5Communicate daily with your supervisor or manager to coordinate workflow and address issues.
- 6Work quietly and minimize noise to respect residents during evening hours.

- 8Complete other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements10
- 1Lift up to 25 lbs. and use hands and arms repetitively.
- 2Climb stairs in apartment buildings.
- 3Work outdoors and handle various weather conditions.
- 4Own an open-bed pickup truck (required at most properties).
- 5Hold a valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name or as an authorized driver.
- 6Have a smartphone to download and use the company's app.
- 7Demonstrate self-motivation and reliability.
- 8Work independently and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- 9Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 10Customer service experience is a plus.
