Donation Attendant, Retail & Customer Service
Overview
Own the customer experience and donation flow at GCNA retail stores at scale. You will process donations, label items, assist customers, and help maintain organized production rooms and sales floors. This role blends daily hands on tasks with safety and teamwork to drive store performance. What You'll Do10
- 1Build strong customer service by accepting donations and assisting customers
- 2Label Gaylords accurately and issue receipts for donations
- 3Assist with loading and unloading furniture and other items to vehicles
- 4Maintain organization of production room and merchandise following standard procedures
- 5Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and conduct daily safety inspections
- 6Perform floor care duties when needed and cross train in other store roles
- 7Assist in loading or unloading merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers as needed
- 8Ensure correct pricing and signage for furniture and large items
- 9Support a loss prevention mindset and safety compliant operations
- 10Maintain regular in person attendance to support store team goals
Requirements5
- 1Excellent customer service skills
- 2Ability to pass forklift certification class
- 3Ability to speak and read English proficiently
- 4Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- 5Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
