What You'll Do8

  • 1Direct daily work schedules for warehouse staff handling shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, picking, and palletizing.
  • 2Ensure all store materials are organized and clearly identified, meeting distribution objectives and customer requirements.
  • 3Maintain equipment and company vehicles to comply with city, state, and federal laws, enforcing safety rules and proper hazardous material handling.
  • 4Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance markers, providing counseling and coaching to improve team output.
  • 5Coordinate with warehouse and operations managers, telephone sales, and other supervisors to meet shipment cut-off times and address shortages.
  • 6Maintain records and reports on lost sales, errors, and production, using data to recommend process changes.
  • 7Implement layout changes to optimize space utilization and product flow, reducing handling time by 20% within the first quarter.
  • 8Lead daily safety briefings and enforce PPE compliance, reducing incident rates by 30% in the first 90 days.

Requirements8

  • 11-3 years prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • 2Experience with material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to teammates.
  • 3Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4Bi-Lingual skills preferred, but not required.
  • 5Working knowledge of SAP and WMS systems for inventory control.
  • 6Certification in OSHA safety standards is a plus.
  • 7Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts.
  • 8Valid driver's license with clean record for equipment operation.
