Dispatcher, Waste Services & Route Coordination
Overview
You own route dispatch for residential, commercial, and roll-off services across Philadelphia. You direct a fleet of drivers to maximize daily productivity and service quality. What You'll Do8
- 1Dispatch drivers to calls as they arrive, balancing customer needs with driver locations and loads
- 2Assign routes and service throughout the day and for the next day, adjusting for real-time conditions
- 3Manage incoming requests from customer service and sales for pickups and container movements
- 4Initiate contact with customers while drivers are on-site to resolve pickup issues and delays
- 5Update customer care on service delays to keep customers informed
- 6Prepare and distribute daily route schedules, documenting pickups and route completions
- 7Report driver performance issues to management for resolution
- 8Complete training to expand knowledge of company products and services
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Legal eligibility to work in the US
- 3Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- 4Dispatch experience preferred
