What You'll Do10
- 1Build and coordinate daily dispatches for drivers foremen and helpers
- 2Analyze scheduled moves and assign appropriate crews and equipment based on workload and qualifications
- 3Monitor active jobs for efficiency safety and timely completion
- 4Prepare and review Bill of Lading contracts and other documentation before dispatch
- 5Maintain accurate records of workforce availability vehicle usage and daily activity
- 6Communicate with moving teams during shifts to resolve issues delays or emergencies
- 7Report incidents vehicle issues or safety matters per policy
- 8Collaborate with Operations Safety and Fleet to optimize workforce utilization and truck rotation
- 9Assist with booking hotels roadside assistance and travel logistics as needed
- 10Provide daily and weekly reports on manpower fleet status and dispatch performance
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience preferably in household goods or transportation/moving
- 2Knowledge of DOT state and federal regulations for commercial vehicles
- 3Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch management systems
- 5Excellent organizational and analytical skills able to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- 6Ability to understand operational data and make informed scheduling decisions
- 7Dependable proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- 8Flexibility with schedule and willingness to adapt to business needs
- 9Ability to work in office 6 days/week during the summer with weekend rotation
