Dispatcher, Last Mile Logistics - Bilingual
Overview
You will own real-time communication for FIDELITONE's Last Mile delivery routes, coordinating drivers, installers, and warehouse staff to ensure customers get accurate delivery updates. As the central hub, you will manage daily dispatch operations in Tampa, FL, using routing software to track progress and resolve issues. Your bilingual skills (English and Spanish) will bridge gaps between drivers and customers, ensuring seamless service. This role puts you at the heart of logistics, where your decisions directly impact on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do8
- 1Communicate with drivers and installers to ensure timely delivery to Last Mile customers.
- 2Coordinate with schedulers and warehouse personnel to verify accurate staging, delivery, and removal of freight for FIDELITONE clients.
- 3Sort and prepare all delivery paperwork, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
- 4Operate FIDELITONE routing software to effectively communicate with drivers and monitor route progress.
- 5Assist drivers and customers in problem-solving to provide excellent customer service.
- 6Report incidents and accidents to Corporate Safety and Operations staff, ensuring proper documentation.
- 7Communicate cancelled or rescheduled deliveries to end customers and clients, minimizing disruption.
- 8Manage daily dispatch operations, prioritizing urgent issues and rerouting as needed.
Requirements7
- 13+ years in Logistics, Supply Chain, Dispatching, Transportation, Engineering, or Business Analyst/Project Management.
- 2Working knowledge of DOT and Hours-of-Service (HOS) regulations for commercial operators.
- 3Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- 4High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5Intermediate computer proficiency in Excel and Word.
- 6Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills.
- 7Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and clients.
