Overview
Oversee organization-wide employee learning, onboarding, and professional development at SALMON Health and Retirement. Administer the LMS, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with HR, Operations, and clinical leaders to build effective training programs. What You'll Do10
- 1Build a training and education strategy aligned with SALMON's workforce priorities and operational goals.
- 2Lead new employee orientation and onboarding programs, refining content and delivery for first 90 days.
- 3Partner with HR, clinical, and operational leaders to identify skill gaps and design targeted educational programs.
- 4Develop leadership and management training for emerging leaders using instructional design best practices.
- 5Coordinate regulatory, compliance, and annual education, ensuring HIPAA and OSHA standards are met.
- 6Administer the LMS, including course assignments, content management, completion tracking, and reporting.
- 7Create and maintain online courses, upload content, and ensure records are audit-ready for regulatory surveys.
- 8Manage the LMS vendor relationship, troubleshooting issues and overseeing platform upgrades.
- 9Train managers and educators on LMS use, and report participation and compliance metrics to leadership.
- 10Build partnerships with colleges and vocational programs to support talent pipelines.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 25+ years progressive experience in training, learning and development, or organizational development.
- 33+ years leading organization-wide learning programs, with leadership experience preferred.
- 4Experience in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care environments.
- 52+ years administering an LMS (e.g., Cornerstone, SABA, Workday), including course management and compliance tracking.
- 6Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methods.
- 7Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills for reporting to executives.
- 8Ability to collaborate with executives, clinical leaders, and frontline staff across departments.
