What You'll Do18

  • 1Partner with senior leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives that advance clinical excellence
  • 2Collaborate with Operations and HR to support onboarding training and staff development
  • 3Analyze data audits and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and improve performance
  • 4Maintain policies procedures and clinical practices to ensure compliance with NJ Department of Health DDD HCBS and DHS regulations
  • 5Lead quality assurance initiatives including chart audits and regulatory readiness activities
  • 6Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical operations across residential and day program settings
  • 7Supervise mentor and support RN and LPN staff to ensure safe evidence-based care
  • 8Oversee medication administration protocols and maintain clinical authority across sites
  • 9Serve as liaison between nursing staff families and external providers
  • 10Ensure timely accurate clinical documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
  • 11Lead continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance care delivery and outcomes
  • 12Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • 13Review and approve health nursing components of Individualized Service Plans ISPs
  • 14Provide direct clinical care including wound care IV therapy and medication management
  • 15Participate in on-call rotation to support after-hours clinical needs
  • 16Manage training and certification for medication administration across residential programs
  • 17Coordinate medical appointments documentation across all programs
  • 18Travel daily weekly throughout New Jersey to provide clinical oversight and meet supervisory visit standards

Requirements7

  • 1Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
  • 2Minimum 7 years of clinical experience including at least 2 years in supervisory or management roles
  • 3Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN; Master’s in Health Administration or Public Health preferred
  • 4Experience in DDD home care home health geriatrics or infusion services
  • 5Strong knowledge of NJ DDD regulations HCBS waiver requirements and medication administration standards
  • 6Ability to support individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs
  • 7Familiarity with exposure control plan Category 2 classifications
