Overview

You will own clinical operations for your assigned unit at Complete Care at Willow Creek, a newly renovated skilled nursing center in New York. You will lead a nursing team of 10-15 staff, directing daily rounds and care coordination. Your work directly shapes resident outcomes and family confidence. This role combines hands-on patient assessment with staff development and regulatory compliance. You will partner with physicians and the Director of Nursing to drive quality metrics. What You'll Do8

  • 1Lead the nursing team on your shift, directing assignments and monitoring care delivery for 30-40 residents.
  • 2Conduct clinical rounds each shift, assessing resident conditions and adjusting care plans with RN judgment.
  • 3Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and document progress under HIPAA compliance.
  • 4Mentor staff through bedside coaching and in-services, raising clinical competency and patient satisfaction.
  • 5Audit charts and medication administration to maintain state and federal regulations, using BLS and IV certification standards.
  • 6Resolve family concerns with empathy and transparency, building trust in the care team.
  • 7Drive quality improvement projects on your unit, from fall prevention to pressure injury reduction.
  • 8Support the Director of Nursing in staffing, scheduling, and regulatory surveys.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years of skilled nursing facility management experience.
  • 2Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license, unencumbered.
  • 3BLS and IV certification required.
  • 4Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • 5Previous staff supervision experience strongly preferred.
  • 6Proven ability to coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • 7Knowledge of HIPAA and long-term care regulations.
  • 8Flexibility to work a MOD schedule, including weekends and holidays.
