Director of Business Applications
Overview
You will own the business applications portfolio for a global staffing leader, managing a 5+ team of engineers and admins across NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday. You will partner with executives to drive digital transformation, aligning technology roadmaps with revenue goals. This role offers direct influence on M&A integration and a path to VP-level leadership.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a 12-month roadmap for NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday, aligning with business priorities.
- 2Lead the migration of legacy CRM data to Salesforce, ensuring zero downtime during the cutover.
- 3Design and enforce governance for NetSuite customizations, reducing technical debt.
- 4Drive the rollout of Workday modules for HR and finance, improving process efficiency.
- 5Ship a vendor management system integration with Salesforce, cutting manual effort by half.
- 6Own the budget for applications, forecasting costs and negotiating vendor contracts.
- 7Mentor a team of 5 developers, setting coding standards and review practices.
- 8Coordinate with security to pass SOC 2 audit, remediating gaps in access controls.
Requirements7
- 18+ years leading enterprise applications, with 3+ years in a director role.
- 25+ years hands-on with NetSuite or Salesforce administration and customization.
- 3Proven track record of M&A integration for business systems.
- 4Experience with Workday implementation or support.
- 52+ years managing budgets of $2M+.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7Certifications: NetSuite Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Architect.
