Director Program Delivery Management, HCM Staffing
Overview
Own enterprise-scale technology transformation programs for strategic clients, from application development and migration to legacy modernization and cloud transformation. Lead a cross-functional team of program managers and delivery leads, reporting to the VP of Client Services. Drive outcomes that reduce time-to-market and increase client retention. This role stands apart through direct executive client exposure and P&L accountability.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and own the program roadmap for 2-3 strategic clients, aligning delivery milestones with business outcomes in the first 90 days.
- 2Lead a team of 10+ program managers and delivery leads, setting clear goals and removing blockers.
- 3Drive application migration and legacy modernization initiatives using AWS and Azure migration tools.
- 4Oversee cloud transformation programs, ensuring Kubernetes and Docker adoption meet security and performance standards.
- 5Own executive client relationships, presenting progress and risks to C-level stakeholders monthly.
- 6Partner with engineering leads to unblock delivery and prioritize technical debt against business goals.
- 7Define and track delivery metrics, including schedule variance and defect escape rate, to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements8
- 110+ years in program or delivery management for technology transformation.
- 25+ years managing enterprise-scale programs in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 3Proven track record of delivering application development and migration projects with Java, .NET, or Python.
- 4Experience leading cross-functional teams of 20+ in a matrixed environment.
- 5Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership and budget forecasting.
- 6Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with a history of C-level reporting.
- 7PMP or Scrum Master certification required.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
