Overview
Full-time Dining Services Supervisor responsible for overseeing front-of-house and catering operations at a boarding and day school for grades 9-12 in Newtown PA. Must work 6a-2:3opm Monday-Friday with some weekends and evenings based on catering needs.
What You'll Do6
- 1Supervise staff and Dining Room and Catering operations to ensure high-quality service standards and presentations are met
- 2Monitor and supervise setup and maintenance of the cafeteria area and food stations to ensure quality standards
- 3Assist leadership in supervising and assessing staff needs; support purchasing and inventory activities
- 4Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees
- 5Foster an inclusive environment for all staff and guests while maintaining effective client and customer-centric relationships
- 6Potential assistance with catering events as requested
Requirements11
- 1Pass an FBI background check
- 2Associate's Degree or 2-3 years of related leadership experience
- 3ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- 4Working knowledge of dining room operations
- 5Demonstrated experience in promoting and driving catering programs
- 6Experience using online Food Management Systems preferred
- 7Growing knowledge of sustainable practices
- 8High levels of professionalism and strong leadership skills
- 9Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- 10Emerging leadership skills and strong customer service orientation
- 11Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while fostering strong client and customer relationships
